When artwork, graphics and illustrations are produced, a copyright protection is automatically granted.

- Copying work
- Distributing copies of it, whether free of charge or for sale
- Renting or lending copies of the work
- Displaying or playing the work in public
- Making an adaptation of the work
- Dispersing it on the internet without permission

All artwork and graphics presented on this website (www.cherrymotive.bigcartel.com) are protected under copyright laws in the UK.

I, Cherrymotive (the artist), allow for the viewing of my work, but there is no consent for a third party to making any social or economic gain from my work.

Any infringement will result in a copyright notice.

Commissioned Artwork

I, Cherrymotive (the artist), claim the rights to the produced drawing, not the buyer. Therefore, I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:
- Promote myself with it everywhere
- Make merchandise featuring the art
- Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)

The buyer is allowed to:
- Use the commissioned piece for personal use, unless agreed otherwise (you can upload it on all your social media profiles, forums, etc. With my logo visible)

The following is considered copyright infringement:
- Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money off it in any way
- Claiming the artwork as your own
- Removing my signature and logo from the artwork
- Altering the artwork without my consent

I, Cherrymotive (the artist), reserve the full rights to the artwork and its use or distribution unless otherwise agreed upon

Royalties/Licensing

3 types of licensings can be agreed upon of, consiting of:

- ROYALTY: This is where the manufacturer pays the artist a royalty percentage of their gross sales.
- ROYALTY WITH ADVANCE UP FRONT – There will be an advance payable up front, which is later deducted from future royalties.
- FLAT FEE – A one-time fee is paid instead of royalties
